Types of Slot Games
Learn about the different types of modern slots
Classic Slots
Traditional three-reel slot games featuring fruit and bar symbols. Providers like NetEnt create these simple yet entertaining games.
Video Slots
Modern five-reel slots with animations and themes. Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus is one of the most popular examples in this category.
Jackpot Slots
In progressive jackpot slots, a portion of every bet goes into the prize pool, which can grow to a massive amount. Microgaming is a pioneer in this type of game.
Megaways Slots
The reel height changes on every spin, creating thousands of winning combinations. Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza uses the Megaways mechanic.
Cascading Reels
After a win, the winning symbols disappear and new symbols drop down — multiple wins are possible from a single spin. PG Soft's Mahjong Ways uses this mechanic.
Cluster Pays
Wins are formed by clusters of matching symbols side by side or above and below — no fixed paylines required. NetEnt and Pragmatic Play use this mechanic.
Top Game Providers
Games from the world's leading software companies on one platform
Pragmatic Play is one of the world's most popular providers of slots and live casino games. Their games are known for high-quality graphics and exciting features.
PG Soft specialises in mobile-first slots. Their games are rich in Asian themes and are very popular among players in Bangladesh.
JILI has particular strength in slots, fishing games and arcade games. Their games are easy to understand and can be enjoyed on any budget.
Evolution Gaming is the leading provider of live casino games. It delivers the experience of playing live roulette, baccarat and blackjack with real dealers.
Spribe pioneered crash games and instant games. Their Aviator game has gained wide popularity in Bangladesh.
Microgaming is a pioneer of the online casino industry. Their game portfolio includes hundreds of slots, table games and progressive jackpots.
Fishing and Arcade Games
Fun shooting games where skill and strategy matter
In fish shooting games you use a cannon to hunt fish underwater. Each fish has a multiplier value — small fish die easily but give smaller rewards, while catching a big boss fish can earn you a big reward.
Upgrading the cannon level increases the cost per shot but also increases its firepower. Use a higher-level cannon for boss fish, and a lower level for regular fish to keep your budget going.
Mega Fishing
Team hunting on a large screen, with special bonus stages.
Aviator Style
A crash-type game where cashing out at the right moment is key.
Coin-Push Arcade
An online version of the classic arcade coin pusher game.
Bingo Arcade
Fast-paced bingo in various themes.
Cricket Partnerships
The relationship between online betting and cricket in the Bangladesh market
In Bangladesh, cricket is more than a sport — it is a passion. From BPL to the T20 World Cup, millions of people are gripped with excitement for every Bangladesh Tigers match. This is why online betting brands have become deeply tied to cricket.
Several notable sponsorships have been seen in international markets. Babu88 has partnered with the Montreal Tigers and Colombo Strikers. Crickex has served as a sponsor in various regional tournaments. Jeetbuzz has taken on Caribbean cricketer Andre Russell as a brand ambassador.
Trends in this industry show that online betting platforms are using cricket as their primary marketing channel. joua9 offers betting on all major cricket events including BPL, IPL and the T20 World Cup.

How to Read Odds
Understanding betting odds — a simple guide for beginners
Decimal Odds
The most common format in Bangladesh. Multiply your stake by the odds number to get your total return.
Example: ৳500 stake × 1.80 = ৳900 total return.
That means a profit of ৳400.
Implied Probability
Odds tell you the probability the bookmaker is assigning to an outcome. Formula: 1 ÷ odds × 100.
Example: 1.80 odds means 1÷1.80 × 100 = 55.6% probability.
Other Formats
Fractional (1/2) and American (+150, -200) formats are also available, but decimal odds are the default on joua9.
Tip: Always use decimal format — the calculation is simpler.

"I mostly play slot games. joua9 has a lot of games from PG Soft and JILI. When I withdraw, the money arrives in Nagad within 20-30 minutes. I've never had such fast payments before."
"The welcome bonus is genuinely good — 100% match up to ৳8,000 and wagering of only 10x, which is much lower than other sites. Playing with a live dealer in the live casino is a different kind of fun."
